Furthermore, the Top 10 Best individual players out of the 100 were:

- Chao Jinularo
- Bunhong Usa

- Kim Sanker
- Srey NorakSeyha

- Serey ReachSambath
- Taing Fuli

According to Rithyuth Nov, President of the Cambodian Chess League, the event was organised because the league saw the raw potential of Cambodia’s youth chess community and wished to create an event that would allow student chess players to further develop their skills through friendly competition.
The initiative began as localised, informal inter-school chess tournaments driven by organic participant registration, and then transitioned to a formal organisational structure with standardised registration workflows and targeted digital outreach pipelines. The league also secured commercial sponsorship contracts with Amarak Farm, Bakeology, CIA FIRST, Uncle Hai, and Hai La Hotpot.
