According to Alex Thorn, Head of Research at Galaxy, the current Bitcoin halving cycle is dramatically underperforming when compared to previous market historical cycles. As the cryptocurrency ecosystem matures, both extreme volatility and massive upside potential have been consistently declining with each successive halving event. Despite these seemingly bearish indicators, Thorn emphasizes that these current market dynamics may not represent a permanent shift.
