In a strong statement issued on Tuesday, UNICEF condemned the escalating violence against Palestinian children in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. According to the UN agency, Israeli military operations since the beginning of 2025 have led to the tragic deaths of 70 Palestinian children, with more than 60 of these fatalities directly attributed to Israeli soldiers. This alarming surge in casualties continues to draw intense international scrutiny, highlighting the urgent need for global intervention to protect innocent lives amidst the ongoing conflict.
