In contrast to the United States, which has waged war in the Middle East, China is employing a humanitarian aid strategy to assist countries directly or indirectly affected by this conflict. A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced this morning, March 17, that China will dispatch humanitarian aid to four Middle Eastern countries: Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, and Iraq.
