The United States, through its Defense Secretary, issued a warning on Thursday, June 18, stating that it would reconsider the deployment of its troops in Europe. This threat stems from ongoing dissatisfaction with European nations for their refusal to join the US in a potential conflict against Iran. Furthermore, the US Defense Secretary also pointed out that some NATO members have been slow to increase their budgetary contributions to 5% of their Gross Domestic Product, a target long desired by the United States.
