In the digital age, everyone need to have their own account in every digital
platform, such as gmail, facebook, bank account, workplace, ...etc.
Each account usually contains a username and a password. Some account related to
financial could have more pincode to release the fund.
The password is very important to login to your account, and also to steal your account.
If someone get to know your password. They can pretend to be you and log in to your
account to steal the information, money or to destroy your account.
In the mordern word, we are using less and less password, but use a public key cryptography,
that given users 2 keys, or we called keypair (Private Key and Public Key).
Just like in serey.io if you log in to your wallet, click on show key, you will see
each key has a keypair, the private key in red color and the public key in blue color.
Usually, to make the account secure the system will store only public key,
and when people login they will use their private key, then the system will verify
if the private key is corresponding to the public key, if yes the system will allow user
to log in otherwise not. So private key will only be at user location such as inside computer,
inside local file where an application such as wallet could retrieved it.
One thing to remember, never show your private anywhere in public especially,
when you do a video tutorial on youtube, or printscreen the tutorial and post on public,
you need to blur the sensitive section or hide it, otherwise the audience will
see your secret information in public, so secret must be in secret place,
not a public place, once the secret is in public place there is no more secure.
For example: serey using one account to do tutorial on youtube and didn't hide
the private key, so I can take over that account and that's account become my account,
the account has about 12,985coins. Assume that it has 12,985$ all that money
is belong to me. After that serey gave that account to me as a gift.
So remember not to show your private anywhere, even with someone you trust
like your leader in the community, because they might not know well
about to protect their account and your account and both of the account
could be stolen all together. If you don't know something, try to learn yourself.
